LINDSAY TORNQUIST
ABOUT LINDSAY
Lindsay is a true Midwesterner. She was born in Minnesota, raised in South Dakota, and received her undergraduate training in Iowa, graduating magna cum laude from Cornell College with a BA in Theatre.
After that, Lindsay earned her MFA from Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training, one of the top ten MFA actor training programs in the Nation. She is a proud disciple of the teachings of Andrei Malaev-Babel, whose Vakhtangov/Chekov technique she had the opportunity to teach. She has taught a Basic Acting Course at her alma mater, Cornell College, as well as a year long Master Acting Class at Manatee School for the Arts in Palmetto, Florida.
When she isn't acting or teaching, Lindsay enjoys reading Feminist Literature and young adult fiction. She loves photography especially developing photos with her dad in their makeshift dark room. She's been known to bake a mean chocolate chip cookie.
